Terms of Service

Effective date: February 25, 2026

Welcome to TrueFeel (“we,” “us,” “our”). TrueFeel is a feel-first training advisor for endurance athletes, available at truefeel.ai. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Medical Disclaimer

Please read this section carefully

  1. Not medical advice. TrueFeel provides training recommendations based on subjective self-reports and third-party wearable data. Our recommendations are not medical advice and are not a substitute for professional medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment.
  2. Not a healthcare provider. TrueFeel is not a licensed healthcare provider. No physician-patient or therapist-patient relationship is created by your use of the service.
  3. Consult your physician. You should consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional before starting, modifying, or intensifying any exercise program, especially if you have known health conditions or concerns.
  4. Do not ignore professional medical advice. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you have read or received through TrueFeel. Our recommendations are one input among many and should never override the guidance of a qualified medical professional.
  5. Stop if you experience symptoms. If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any unusual symptoms during exercise, stop immediately and seek medical attention. Do not rely on TrueFeel’s recommendations to determine whether it is safe to continue.
  6. No liability for injuries. We are not liable for any injuries, health complications, or adverse outcomes resulting from following, partially following, or misinterpreting TrueFeel’s recommendations. You use the service and act on its recommendations entirely at your own risk.
  7. Pre-existing conditions. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, chronic illnesses, cardiovascular conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, or other health concerns, you should obtain clearance from a qualified physician before using TrueFeel’s recommendations to guide your training.

2. Beta Service

TrueFeel is currently in beta. This means:

  • The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Features, algorithms, interfaces, and data integrations may change, be modified, or be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
  • The service is free during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans when the beta period ends, with reasonable advance notice.
  • We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or uninterrupted access to the service during the beta period.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of the service shall not exceed the greater of $50 USD or the total amount you have paid to TrueFeel in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • In no event shall TrueFeel, its founders, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • This limitation applies to all causes of action in the aggregate, including but not limited to breach of contract, tort (including negligence), and any other legal theory.

4. User Responsibilities

By using TrueFeel, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate data. Your self-reported check-ins (energy, soreness, motivation, stress, and other subjective inputs) should honestly reflect how you feel. The quality of our recommendations depends directly on the accuracy of your input.
  • Do not game the system. You agree not to provide intentionally misleading, false, or manipulated data. Gaming the system degrades the quality of recommendations for you and undermines the integrity of the service.
  • Use recommendations as one input. TrueFeel’s recommendations are meant to be one input in your training decisions, not the sole determinant. You should consider your own experience, your coach’s guidance (if applicable), and your current health status alongside our recommendations.
  • Own your decisions. You remain fully responsible for your own training decisions, whether you follow, modify, or override TrueFeel’s recommendations. The decision to train, rest, modify, or push through is always yours.

5. Data and Third-Party Services

  • Privacy Policy. Your data usage, collection, and storage are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using TrueFeel, you consent to the data practices described therein.
  • Third-party integrations. TrueFeel connects to third-party services including Strava, Oura, and TrainingPeaks to access your activity, biometric, and training plan data. These connections are subject to the respective terms of service and privacy policies of those platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
  • Integration compliance. We reserve the right to disconnect or modify integrations with third-party services at any time if required by partner agreements, API changes, or violations of third-party terms.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our property. The TrueFeel service, including its algorithms, decision engine, conflict resolution logic, user interface, design, branding, and all associated content, is the intellectual property of TrueFeel and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service without our prior written consent.
  • Your data. Your personal data, including check-in responses, activity data, and biometric information, belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your data. You grant TrueFeel a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service for you.

7. Termination

  • By you. You may stop using TrueFeel at any time. You may disconnect third-party integrations and delete your account by contacting us.
  • By us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in a manner that could harm other users or the integrity of the platform.
  • Data deletion. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will make reasonable efforts to delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts located in California, United States.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page and, where practical, notify you through the service. Your continued use of TrueFeel after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
